ADD o mas kilala as brother Ely’s And Dating Daan has been tatay’s everyday Bible study, not that there is anything wrong about it, in fact he’s been moderately smoking and not drinking at all, (oha, oha!) since then, so I guess there is really something good about it, the joining thing I mean. Yun yata yung kanyang lifelong search for a true religion, ewan ko rin. This brought me to these quotable quotes. One is from a Filipino author and the other one from a religious personality, one is funny and the other is even funnier which is which? Go figure! Stumble upon this short story by National Artist for Literature Alejandro Roces (it's pretty long but trust me its a short story) on a book titled 'Panorama of World Literature for Filipinos', i find this story amusing and funny at times. We may call the humor of Alejandro Roces as humor of exaggeration, the funny situations are laugh-provoking because they are... well... exaggerated hehe sometimes satirical. He wrote 'We Filipinos...' as a student of Arizona University and was first published in The Arizona Quarterly, i think it won him an award in literature from that university.
